Acrid, slightly Bitter to Bitter and Warm, it enters the Hand Tai Yin Lung and Foot Tai Yang Urinary Bladder Jing-channels and according to some, the Yang Qiao vessel as well. /Herba Ephedrae is unique in the Chinese pharmacopoeia as it brings this combination of qualities into the Bie Jing/Clock Opposite relationship between the Foot Tai Yang Urinary Bladder and Hand Tai Yin Lung Jing-channels, precisely the location of an initial attack of wInd and cold. This particular specimen of /Herba Ephedrae was gathered in a region of the Southwestern United States very near Four Corners.
