V roce 1993 vstupuje reprezentace společně s útočníkem Martinem Hostákem (elektronická tužka) na německý led (Braniborská brána, muž v německém kroji s klobásou) poprvé po odtržení Česka od Slovenska jako samostatný tým. Téhož roku se prezidentem České republiky stává Václav Havel (srdce, ruka). Že jsme opravdu silný tým, jsme se mohli přesvědčit i díky památnému bodychecku Tonyho Stavjani na kanadského hráče Erica Lindrose, který při své váze a výšce dokonce letěl vzduchem (človek v letu s javorovým listem). Nejlepším brankářem šampionátu byl vyhlášen Petr Bříza (strom). Tento ročník mistrovství reprezentoval vůz ŠKODA FAVORIT.

1993 - Bronze for Independence!

In 1993, the now solely Czech national team, together with forward Martin Hosták (electronic pencil), enters the German ice (Brandenburg Gate, man in German costume with a sausage) for the first time after the separation of the Czech Republic from Slovakia. The same year, Václav Havel (heart, hand) becomes President of the Czech Republic. We could see that we are a really strong team thanks to Tony Stavjani's memorable hit on Canadian player Eric Lindros, who flew through the air despite his weight and height (a flying man with a maple leaf). Petr Bříza was declared the best goalkeeper of the tournament (Bříza = birch) ŠKODA FAVORIT is the car of this year.
