Gflam and ape 21 were good friends. They went swimming together occasionally, at the pool, at the beach, what have you. There wasn’t much of a problem until $gflam wanted a bite off of 21s banana.

21 wouldn’t let him. That upset $gflam. But what upset him even more was that 21 wouldn’t say why. 21 is not starving. He’s got plenty of bananas back home. He’s got plenty of food.

So that’s kinda suspicious of 21. But $gflam’s reaction was no less dramatic. He got angry, and went rogue. Completely rogue. A few days later, as we all know, $gflam tries to whack 21 via a drive by shooting.

With the drive by unsuccessful, $gflam goes underground. During his time in hiding a mysterious figure approaches him:

You guessed it. Flamfather.

“The apes have been denying us pinks bananas for years. And they’ve a good reason. Bananas might be food for apes but they’re something else entirely for flamingoes.”

A single banana can turn a flam, into a superflam. An entity more powerful than 10 apes. Knowing this, the apes have been hoarding and keeping bananas safe from flamingo hands.

Now: It was no coincidence that $gflam turned up backed by a whole gang. Flamfather offered $gflam his backing, and he is actively grooming, mentoring and funding the young leader. Flamfather has found a heir capable and hungry enough to take on all apes, steal their bananas and create an army of super flamingoes.
