Visa has probably managed to do what DEATH PUNK has been doing for six months - kill off CryptoPunks. Although Honorary DEATH PUNK member, ROBNESS, burnt CryptoPunk #2317 July 2021, Visa may have managed to kill the ‘cool’ of CryptoPunks - maybe?

beautifulpunks.eth didn’t want to let #7610 go into institutional hands and offered bids of 100, then 150 $ETH. These bids have since been withdrawn. Or is it all theater for an institutional pump? Is Beanie a plant for Visa?

‘The institutions are coming …’ Visa has been exploring blockchain payment for a while now. They’re not going to tell you when they are buying or what they are buying. Except in this case with Visa which is likely for publicity and/or signalling the market. When they are ready to mark prices up and pump it, then they will tell you and even recommend it. The market exists to transfer wealth, and institutions dump on retail, always have. Perhaps this is the start ….

Whatever their intentions, you can track Visa’s transactions - just like they do yours.

Visa is offering custom plans for business to develop and evaluate NFT opportunities. So, yes, the rest of them are coming. But let’s not lose sight of crypto principles and the reason crypto was created and allow greed to let us sell out to institutions and fractional reserve banking.
