This VIP Card was produced in January 1989. Genesis’88 & Sunrise were staging large scale illegal warehouse parties every Saturday night throughout January 1989. The idea of a VIP card feels counterintuitive to the ethos of Acid House. Thousands of people were now attending each event and friends would often get lost in the crowd. VIP cards ensured speedy entrance and access to any VIP areas devised for friends and production to chill. The cards are super rare as only a small number were produced.
