Genesis’88 | Management Pass 1989

Team passes helped convey the image of a professionally run event when in reality Genesis’88 broke into the warehouse just hours before opening doors to party enthusiasts. Utilised during collaborations when security teams needed to know who was who before allowing access to restricted areas. Only three of these passes were distributed among Genesis’88 three co-founders.

Scanned from Wayne Anthony’s (Genesis’88 Co-Founder) Personal Scrapbook History of Rave Culture (UK) | Acid House 1988-1989

Rare collectibles from published author and rave pioneer Wayne Anthony. At the age of 22 Wayne was staging some of the biggest ‘illegal’ warehouse parties in British history. They called it The Second Summer of Love and it happened in the United Kingdom. The world came to know it as Rave, they called it Acid House. Under the banner of Genesis’88, Wayne and partners Andrew Pritchard & Keith Brooks, staged over forty large scale Acid House parties over a short period. Mentioned by name in over 50 published books on the topic. Wayne plans on minting his private collection of memorabilia from the events he staged between 1988-90. Original secondhand Genesis’88 flyers currently sell for upto £450 on auction sites. Own a piece of EDM history in NFT format from an original pioneer of the period.
