Abortion is a natural process that leads to various feelings and emotions, and as an experience it marks the life of many women.
The woven fetus and the skein are symbols of that dismissed life, of pain, of blood and conception.
As women of these times, it is important to demand our rights over the physical body and recognize the need to reestablish the link of the body with the mind and the spirit, assume responsibilities for our life and for sexual education, heal the internal pains at the same time that we learn and transform.
The entire series starts from a first physical work from which others with particular formats emerge, and techniques that range from the most traditional to the most contemporary.
This is a dialogue from a common idea: the search to represent the problems, questions and dilemmas of everyday life, fleeting moments, based on own and other's experiences that reflect the concerns of today's woman, mainly, as a generator and sustenance of life, base of society, continuation, promoter and creator herself.
Each moment of embroidery, weaving, sewing, and / or painting is also a request for protection and a gift, a service, a healing, a meditation that gives each piece a special particularity, delivered to the viewer who shares the story of her life, her own spiritual journey.
Her work is a personal gift that she shares, offering her memories as a demonstration of the “daily exercise of existence”.
