"Dante 01" By Nude Robot
Dante 01 - The first in a trilogy of Dante and Virgil reinterpretations. This piece is one of the first videos to fully depict a painting in full 3D, a genesis in conceiving how we might experience art from the past. Original by William-Adolphe Bouguereau depicting Dante and his guide, Virgil traversing hell. I created this in a very low part of my life where my creative process felt like a feedback loop of despair. The eternal combat of the two central was felt like a mirror of my own journey. The more I struggled the more I became intertwined. The three pieces are named Dante as small nod to this being a self portrait, as Virgil being the artistic process/the guide.

Nude Robot is a 3D artist currently residing in Los Angeles, California. Creator of porous realities with physical existence and 3D woven together. Drawing heavily from the unseen forces around us, Nude Robot creates inside out worlds from our culture archive. Also known for directing work, he has collaborated with top artists such as Bad Bunny and Young Thug.

Superchief Gallery is the world's 1st physical dedicated NFT gallery space. Since we opened our first digital art gallery in Soho back in 2016, Superchief has held the belief that digital-native artwork was an essential art form to include as part of the larger art movement of our era. We have had been running our version of a traditional art gallery space since 2012 and by 2016 we knew well that there wasn't a clear way to monetize digital artwork. But we felt strongly that just because we couldn't sell it at the present time, didn’t mean it should be kept apart from the art community at large. These are artists we feel are brilliant and exciting, and should be part of the cultural exchange.
