Bitcoin Blotter (2021) dropped on Bicycle Day, 19th April 2021.
Paying homage to crypto meme culture, and on the 10 year anniversary of Nyan cat in April, this blotter artwork is a crazy collage of crypto culture.
Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) was first synthesized by Chemist Albert Hoffman of the Sandoz Pharmaceutical laboratory in Basel, Switzerland in 1938. The piece is inspired by the psychedelics movement underlying the foundation for the creation of the internet.
Attempts to source LSD on the streets were not successful and it is free of any substance. The NFT represents authenticity over the physical print which comes with the sale. There is only one print in existence and this is the only NFT produced.
The artwork is currently framed on display in Lisbon, Portugal where all drugs are decriminalised. An NFT of the protest artworks using drugs were created in the event of the original artwork being confiscated from the gallery.

All money raised from sales will be used for furthering drug education campaigns.
Casa das Drogas, or House of Drugs, is a pop-up NFT art exhibition in Lisbon that opened on April 19th known as 'Bicycle Day'. The artwork is made using drugs offered on the streets of Lisbon by activist Graham de Barra. The gallery is free for the public to visit based in Av. da Liberdade 9 and is expected to run until the artwork is confiscated ;P
The exhibition has welcomed the Portuguese Government and members of the ETH community during the Spring/Summer 2021.
