James Stewart was an actor, best know for his performances of an American everyman (generally in Frank Capra movies) and the male protagonist in Hitchcock classics. One of his most comic roles was in Harvey (1950), referenced in his fake rabbit ears. As a republican, James was a member of the "red elephant team", referenced in his real ears. In other words: the contrast of his real life and his personal life. And, to finish, an important reference to a Hitchcock masterpiece on the background.

I am Lucas Schmitz, a young artist from Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. As I have a strong interest in movies (mainly Hollywood) and the History of Cinema (specially the Golden Age period), so I began working on a kind of project mixing compositions of real drawings of those artists with abstract and symbolic details of important facts and stories. I started the traditional painting and drawing process with tributes to Paul Newman and Judy Garland. There was a tribute for Albert Einstein, the physics artist, as well. Finally, the collection was officially introduced into digital media with the most influential figure in occidental animation, Walt Disney. In this project, I see a great opportunity to promote creativity and, most importantly, to generate curiosity in people to go deeper into such stories.
