"Who put this shit together? I'm the glue"
On August 3, 2018, Travis Scott released his third studio album, ASTROWORLD, which features the track "Sicko Mode." On this track, Travis reveals that he is in fact the glue which puts shit together.
Travis is not only an artist, but also a curator in the sense that he plays a directorial role in his songs and projects. This is shown by the many featured artists that Travis utilises uniquely across his discography, most notably T.I.’s spoken word and narration on Rodeo.
ASTROWORLD is no exception—especially on “SICKO MODE.” Drake is used as an opener and a closer, Swae Lee’s vocals are cut off before they finish and the late Big Hawk is sampled throughout as a tribute to Travis' hometown of Houston.
About this collection: This collection features my original designs. I create rap / hip-hop / pop culture inspired comedy art. Each piece is inspired by a song lyric from the music artist or a viral moment on the internet. I am always seeking to "find the funny" within the music and the culture.
About me: Graphic designer from Miami, FL. Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of Florida, graduated Cum Laude
