A series of images generated from text entries from my personal dream journal by a convoluted process including several different machine learning algorithms chained together, as well as a manual step in the process. I wanted to "simulate" my subconscious, abstractly speaking, and I did so by compiling approximately 2000 images ranging from photos, paintings, films stills, video game screenshots, anything that I thought had a direct link to the imagery in my dreams. The last step in the process stylizes the images initially generated from the text entries using this database, and the result is stunningly close to what I subjectively perceived in my dreams. They are also striking surrealist and abstract works on their own, but most of them I can directly relate to an actual dream I've had in the past.

This image is one of several that portrays a running theme in my dreams; faceless people, or rather people who appear to have silhouettes, but no characteristics to distinguish them, keeping them vague and somewhat disturbing. I typically try to leave these figures alone in my dreams.
