This is the first piece I drew for the collection. When I started the making of "A Trip to the Nightmarish City", I knew exactly what I wanted to do, but the way I performed it, was spontaneous, giving it a sense of chaos, which was the exact feeling I wanted it to have.

A mid the chaos, we can see a lot of monstrous creatures and evil human beings looking down to an individual. This boy isn't complete anymore, we can see it's being eating alive to the bone by the monsters that surround him, but he is careless, he is in a state of shock.

I wanted to give this piece a bit of my genesis, "Endemic Species Praising Ethereum", to start the collection. That's why he is also holding an Ethereum. The difference here is that the characters aren't interested in it, they don't want the Ethereum, they only want to destroy the boy. Nevertheless, the only one interested in holding it, it's him, because it is the only thing that is keeping him going on. We've all felt that no one that surrounds us in real life, actually care about the things we care so much, it's not bad, it's just the way it is. Sometimes, this so insignificantly-important things can help us keep going on through life. Even through times when life feels like it's against you.
Here, the light is focused on the item the individual cares about, and the darkness on the stuff that is both, metaphorically and actually, killing him.

"The Flight of the Bare-Bone Monkeys" is the second collection I've ever done, but the first one to have a clear path. After releasing my genesis, I struggled to find the personal meaning behind my artworks, so, having this in mind, I began to create several artworks inspired in one important moment that is currently going on at this stage of my life.

Every single artwork has one thing in common with each other. Not only do they share certain things like the style or characters (because some are based on real-life acquaintances), but they all have 4 elements: light, darkness, peace & chaos, which can be reflected in a certain item or character, with a symbolism of their own. The collection comes with a sixth piece based on the new series "Squid Game". This one was made just for fun!

Last but not least, every single piece comes with an unlockable content of a B&W version of the NFT you bought! Now, please proceed to see and enjoy! :)
