In Greek mythology, Elpis (Ancient Greek: ἐλπίς) is the spirit of hope and suffering.

Inspired by the theme "Gifted" and the incredible job healthcare workers do, especially during this pandemic, I decided to create my version of Elpis.

Hope and suffering go hand in hand, so this is also a representation for dualism in our daily life.

This NFT auction is part of the #Gifted140 charity event being led by Sotheby’s, Sostento and the Twitter Besties.

Twenty percent of proceeds from the primary sale of this piece will go towards fulfilling Sostento’s mission of helping frontline healthcare heroes save lives. The donation will be made in cryptocurrency with the support of The Giving Block.
