北海道・ニセコ町。撮影時期３月。気温0度。
日本には、多くの「富士」と呼ばれる山があります。
その中でも、この「蝦夷富士」羊蹄山は、本家にも劣らぬ美しさ。古くは美しい女性を意味する「マッカヌプリ」と呼ばれ、地元に親しまれてきました。
この日は、ほぼ満月。
幻想的な色あいの中に浮かぶ、この美しい山を表現するため、月明かりのタイミングを選ぶ。
ただ一言で「月明かり」と言っても、同じ色あいは存在せず、イメージする絵画的な「蒼」に染まるまで、何度も現地に通う。
この日は、イメージしたまさに「蒼色」に辺りが染まる中、雪原には、LEDライトをあて、雪の質感を表現。
二本のサクランボの木。背景には、ニセコ町の街明かりが、春には、この木が色づいた時のような薄紅梅色に染まり、木を浮かびあがらせるスクリーンとなってくれました。

Location: Niseko Town, Hokkaido. Shooting time: March. Temperature: 0 degrees.
There are many mountains called "Fuji" in Japan.
Among them, this "Ezo Fuji" Mt. Yotei is as beautiful as the head family.
In the olden days, it was called "McCanupuri", which means a beautiful woman, and has been familiar to the locals.
This day is almost a full moon.
I chose the timing of the moonlight to express this beautiful mountain that floats in a fantastic color.
Even if I say "moonlight" in one word, the same color does not exist, and I went to the site many times until it was dyed in the pictorial "blue" that I imagined.
On this day, while the area is dyed in the very "blue color" that I imagined, LED lights are applied to the snow field to express the texture of the snow.
In the background of the two cherries, the city lights of Niseko town were dyed in a light red plum color like when this tree was colored, and it became a screen that makes the tree stand out.

自然風景の中に、どこか夢で見たかのような心象的な情景を探し、その「心象風景」＝「Phocolosical Landscape」を現実風景で表現することをテーマに作品づくりを行っています。
撮影コンセプトは、以下の2点 ①現実の風景を題材に日本画のような質感描写、絵本を思わせるファンタジーな情景描写にこだわった「絵画のような」風景写真 ②自然風景の中にある、シンプルで調和の取れたアートな造形
この2点をコンセプトに、光が織りなす一瞬の奇跡のような感動風景を表現することを目指す。 具体的な撮影手法は、 ①撮影コンセプトを元に、表現したい心象風景を、頭でイメージする。 ②そのイメージが、北海道の自然風景の中で、どう表現できるかを、完成後の作品のイメージを考えながらスケッチに描き起こす。 ③描き起こしたスケッチを元に、MAPや地形図を見ながら、撮影地を選考 ④撮影候補地を実際にロケーションハンティング。その際、気温、湿度、朝夕の色合い、造形、陽の方向、風向きなど気象条件を踏まえ作品となる情景をイメージしながら、撮影に適した場所かどうかをチェック ⑤撮影地が決まったら、イメージした情景（造形・色あい）になるまで何度でも通い詰める
こだわり 現実の風景が創り出す一瞬の奇跡のような「色あい」「造形」「質感」は、レタッチや、加工では表現できないと考えています。 「そのイメージした情景」になるまで何度も撮影に臨むスタイルで行っています
作品完成まで、一箇所の撮影地に際し、通い詰める回数は、平均20回以上 作品の構想から完成まで、3年程度かかるものも 年間の移動距離40000キロ〜50000キロ（地球一周分） 年間75回ほどの撮影で実際に作品となるものは「2〜3」
