This cavern was endless, the only way in and out of it was with magic. It was a magical archive, a great reminder of the power of nature itself. The walls stored spells carved into them through many generations. The very first spell was traced to the fire summoning. There was a rumor that there is an even older spell, but it hasn't been discovered yet.

The walls whisper the magic to those who know how to listen. Each spell is unique, and can't be stored twice. Admittedly many of the spells have similar uses, but there were plenty of peculiar ones as well. To access the archive the magician has to close their eyes and concentrate on what kind of spell they need. Those who can visualize the use, usually fare better at finding correct spells.

Damaging a spell carving was impossible, once it was set in stone. Each magician gets to store 3 spells, their very first creation, their masterpiece and their last one ever created. How the last spell is stored is still unknown, but the theory is that the soul visits this cavern one more time after passing, so maybe the tunnel had and end after all.

The hero was here to carve the very first spell she created. She was rather anxious, afraid to mess up, but seeing other magicians' first spells made her smile in comfort, easing her insecurities. Those first spells were as important as the masterpieces and they were usually spontaneous. Some spells even appeared like gibberish, probably created by accident by those who never studied magic previously. Some of the greatest magicians stumbled into magic by accident, but they still had to work hard to master their skills.

The hero took a deep breath, and pulled out a small chisel and hammer from her pockets. She found an empty spot on the wall she liked and prepared mentally. She took the time she needed and then she started carving. When she finally finished, she wiped the sweat from her forehead and released a sigh of relief. It was done and it was charming.
