The Street Performer In Shen Ju Street, the upbeat trip, silence is broken with the cries of the free. They marvel at the tricks of the street performer: the knives screech, the cubes duly spin, yet they don’t know that his helmet‘s the feat. Adults go: ‘he is like a devious sun’, but kids go: ‘no, just a lot of fun!’. But he forcibly juggles as punishment, punishment for... his utter defeat.

This was originally made as concept art for Neon District, the upcoming Cyberpunk RPG currently being developed by Blockade Games. I had fun planning this one, I wore a metallic kitchen bowl in my head for the reference picture. In the beginning I just wanted an extremely bright background overwhelming the figure of the performer. I love the mix of cyan and green in this piece, I hope you do too! Fun fact, the background is a bunch of random squares and rectangles blurred out!
