The samurai kabuto helmet worn by Yorimitsu (頼光) in the battle with Shuten-dōji the oni king (鬼王 酒天童子/酒呑童子) at Mt. Ōe (大江山) of Tango Province (丹後国), Japan. Minamoto no Yorimitsu (源頼光) is the samurai hero in Japanese legends. The helmet was made with the scarlet (flame-colored) leather straps binding the plates. It had the dragon crest put on the front part of it.
