Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the nation and the state have found themselves between two worlds: life and death, good and evil, light and darkness. Constant thoughts and experiences prompted me to express my feelings in a series of photos. Researching scholars and ancient texts on Egyptian culture, I noticed similarities in the symbolism of my work with the objects of Egyptian beliefs. The series is named after one of the most important deities of religious beliefs of ancient Egypt - Inpu (Anubis). A deity who symbolized the afterlife, and later served as a transporter of souls from one world to another.
